Here at Prospero, our love language is saving time ⌛️💕 With new ways to organize and rent inventory, more flexible booking options, and faster booking approval workflows, we’d definitely be falling for us 😍

What's New

Mult-Location and Multi-Event bookings

Bookers can now submit multi-event booking requests, allowing them to reserve multiple spaces and times in one request. Workshops, conferences, and recurring classes often require multiple spaces across different dates. Clients can review their full booking after submitting and request changes from the summary page at the end of the booking process.

Bookers are automatically notified if admins change, approve, or deny any part of their request. Prefer to keep things simple? Single-event bookings are still fully supported alongside this new, more flexible option.

Right-Click Context Menu

Quickly manage events with the new right-click context menu. This menu puts common actions exactly where you expect them to be, so you can make updates in seconds. Right-click any event to expand, duplicate, edit, delete, move, or share it without opening the event editor.

Inventory Booking Improvements

Inventory fields in booking forms now present a familiar e-commerce style shopping cart interface for bookers to select the items they’d like to include in their booking. Clicking on an item in the catalogue expands the card to display the item’s details.

You can now add multiple inventory fields to booking forms, allowing you to present curated groups of items based on what makes the most sense for your workflow. Make available all the items within a selected space, an entire venue, your full organization, or narrow the list to items with a specific tag.

Triage Mode

When a new booking request comes in, the first question is often “How does this fit in the current schedule?” Triage Mode gives you the context you need to answer that instantly. When you click Triage from a pending booking, you’ll enter a dedicated calendar view designed specifically for evaluating requests against your existing events. Requested events are displayed on the side for quick reference. Simply hover over any request to highlight it directly on the calendar, allowing you to compare availability, spot conflicts, and understand how the booking fits into your broader schedule without switching screens.

Other Improvements:

  • Calendar Keyboard Shortcuts. Use J and K to navigate forward and backward in the calendar. Use M, W, D, and L to switch between month, week, day, and list layout.

  • Custom Single Select Fields. You can now add dropdown-style fields to booking portals, allowing bookers to choose from a predefined list of options. To add one, create a new field in a booking form and choose Select One as the field type. You can then edit the options available to select.

  • View Permissions. You can now set permissions for admin users to adjust their access level to Views, from No Access to Delete. You can adjust admin permissions via Settings > Members > … > Edit Permissions > Resources.

  • View Link Help. View links now include a (?) button that end-user viewers can tap to access a view link tutorial video and view link help articles.
