Running a season can take a lot of hands in Prospero: production managers, scheduling coordinators, front-of-house, guest artists. Before, each user’s permissions needed to be set individually when a new account was created. Now you can create User Roles with preset permissions that define exactly what each role can see and do. Every user is assigned a role, and their permissions are set automatically. Need an exception for one person? You can override any permission at the individual user level without changing the whole role.

To create role-based permissions, go to Members in settings. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Create Role. Select the permissions the new role will be able to access. Once saved, a user can be assigned to the role and immediately inherit the role’s permissions.

When you're setting up a run of shows or rehearsals, the same note often needs to land on every event, whether it's a call time, a location, or a reminder for the crew. You can now update the Details field across as many events as you like in a single bulk edit. Both Details and Admin Notes are also full rich-text editors when bulk editing, so shared information can be formatted exactly the way you want.

Views sometimes outlive the person who created them. When a coordinator changes roles or hands off a schedule, you can now easily pass a view to a teammate in settings. To change a view’s owner, open the Update View modal and pick a new admin from the Owner field. Shared links keep working without interruption, and the view now shows events based on the new owner's access.
