Surprised we’re halfway through the year already? So are we, but that hasn’t stopped us from making your summer scheduling a breeze 🌻 This month's update brings new ways to organize Views and major improvements to PDF exporting.
What's New
New Views Page
Your saved calendar views now have a dedicated home! The new Views page in the sidebar gives you a single place to browse, search, and sort all of your views by name or creation date. From there, you can quickly copy a view link, open a view in a new tab, edit view details, or delete a view. More improvements to this page are on the way!
Favorite Views
If your organization has dozens of views, your sidebar can get crowded fast. Now, each user can favorite the views they use most from the Views page, and only your favorites will appear in your sidebar.
Personal Views
You can now create personal views that are visible only to you and not to the rest of the organization. Views are personal by default, and can be toggled to Organization Views in view settings when you create or update a view.
PDF Export Performance Improvements
Calendar PDF exports are now significantly faster. The improvement applies across all calendar layouts and is especially noticeable in List layout, which is welcome news if you regularly pull a running order PDF before a production meeting or need to hand something off quickly during a venue walkthrough. A progress indicator below the generator updates in real time as the PDF loads so you can see the document’s progress. From the calendar, go to ... > Export to PDF, configure your options, and click Download.
Other Improvements:
Live Event Dragging. Dragging events in the week or day layout now updates the start and end times in real time as you move so you can see exactly where an event will land before you let go.
Inventory Improvements. The Inventory tab is now significantly faster. The page loads quicker, search results appear instantly, and the collection editor is smoother and more responsive.
Export Bookings. You can now click … > Export to CSV on a booking to download a CSV file with all booking details, including any custom fields you've collected.
Persistent View Selection. The app now remembers your selected view after refreshing the page.
Group Email Shortcuts. When sending emails to groups, you can now type a group name in any email modal to add all group members’ email addresses at once.
